Jesse Marching

Okay, I think I figured it out  . . . here's Jesse Marching w/NWHS in the Maple Syrup Festival Parade.  It's not the greatest filming.  I didn't realize the sound would cut out every time I zoomed in and out (it's on the camera not video camera).  The horns were a little off.  Maybe we can all get it right before Memorial Day!

Emma Singing

Emma was singing her praises Easter night . . . "You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you."  Psalm 8:2  Just a glimsp of what it will be like minus the selfishness ;-)

"Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again."  1 Thessalonians 5:23

Jesse on the Tenors

Jesse got to march with the Northwood High School Marching Band for the Maple Syrup Festival Parade in Wakarusa.  He'll be marching again in the Nappanee Memorial Day Parade.  I made a movie but it's toooo big to post so I'll just have to show a clip of him practicing . . . can't get the parade clip to post yet.

It's been awhile . . .

Hmmm . . . I guess I forgot I had a blog.  I'll have to see if I can update a little and make some posts!!  Not that my followers would notice either way :-)  I did enjoy it though.  Stay tuned in . . .

Julie for Sheriff

Wow! It's been so long since I've posted!! Well, I'll have to back track as I find the time but for now I wanted to share our fun day at the Elkhart County 4-H fair. We all wore matching shirts supporting our favorite candidate for Elkhart County Sheriff, Julie Dijkstra. Jesse walked in the parade w/Julie and we collected him at the Grandstand.

Here's Emma with her "vote for Julie smile"!

First we went to Young McDonald's Farm. Emma made a friend.

Stopped by the Goshen Noon Food Booth to say Hi to Dad & Joan. (We passed on a hug - sorry Woo Woo!)

After a bite to eat, we headed to the Grandstand.
Here's another campaign picture!

The next part was just funny. But the kind of funny that you just had to be there. We stuck it out through the rain. I haven't laughed that hard for that long in quite awhile!

Jesse may have a future in politics. Here's his best "VOTE FOR JULIE"!

Sophie was in the parade too. She won the little Sweetheart Princess for the Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival.

Bought a lemon shake-up from our youth group.

And now for some rides!

Finally . . . . . .Emma gets a turn!

Time to crash!
